Type D work permit
A type D permit is intended for foreigners who are employed by a foreign company that does not have an establishment in Poland. The foreigner is sent to Poland to provide services of a temporary and occasional nature, also known as export services. In order to obtain a Type D permit, the employer must submit an application along with the required documents.

What documents are needed to obtain a Type D work permit?
Required documents to accompany the application include:
A completed work permit application form;
A statement regarding criminal record, signed by the employer, as required by the law;
A copy of the saved pages of the foreigner’s passport;
Confirmation of the application fee of PLN 200 for each application submitted;
Contract for the provision of the service in Poland;
Original power of attorney for the person authorized to represent the foreign employer in Poland;
Document confirming the legal status, form or nature of the business conducted by the foreign employer.
Note that the documents must be signed by the foreign employer. In addition, the amount of remuneration to which the foreigner is entitled for work cannot be lower by more than 30% than the current average monthly salary in the province, announced by the President of the Central Statistical Office.
For the renewal of a Type D work permit, the employer must submit a written application no earlier than 90 days and no later than 30 days before the expiration of the current permit. The application for permit renewal requires the same set of documents as the application for the first permit.
